​​​​Instructional Program

​Each high school is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a program of instruction, curriculum, and assessment to meet the needs of its students. A curriculum committee of department chairpersons and other appropriate school personnel is advisory to the administration in instruction, curriculum and assessment​ matters.

The instructional program must be consistent with the:

  • Philosophy and goals of the school as a ministry of the Catholic church

  • Framework of the United States Conference of Catholic​ Bishops

  • Policy of the archdiocese

  • Requirements of the University of California system, California State University system, and state curriculum, consistent with the Catholic philosophy of education​
