12.2.5 Elementary School Athletics Most elementary schools that provide after-school sports programs participate in the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) or locally administered sports leagues. Elementary schools must obtain pertinent rules and regulations from their respective sports leagues. All volunteers and paid personnel who coach at the elementary school level must be certified through the CYO Play Like a Champion Today program.
