A criminal record summary must be received for each employee of the preschool before he or she can be hired. The Guidelines for Completing "Request for Live Scan Service Form" must be submitted pursuant to the California Health and Safety Code, which may require new fingerprinting
for specified persons, including the pastor or principal. In
addition, when a new pastor or principal is assigned to a parish or
school with an existing preschool, he or she must be fingerprinted under the
California Health and Safety Code through the archdiocese
Volunteer/Personnel Information Network program, if they have not
already been fingerprinted under that code.
