5.11.21 Summer School Employment

Selection and hiring of the summer school faculty is left to the sole discretion of the principal. In elementary schools the approval of the pastor is also required. Teachers have no right to employment in the summer school program. Employment in past summer school programs does not guarantee hiring in subsequent summers.  ​​See ​the High School Faculty Summer School Employment Agreement​.

Summer school is a school program, and income and expenses are part of the school’s operational budget. All income must be deposited to the school account and all expenses, including payroll, must be paid from the school account. ​School employees may not operate a summer program or athletic camp without executing an outside user agreement for use of school property.
