5.9.3 Promotions
When opportunities for promotion are available, employees wishing to be promoted will be considered in filling vacancies, based upon their qualifications, ability, past performance reviews, and current performance.
A promotion is defined as moving from one position to another position in a higher pay grade. An employee must have attained
regular employment status and have worked in the position for at least six months to be eligible for a promotion.
