5.9.4 Transfers

A transfer is defined as moving from one department or one location to another in the same wage range and at the same pay rate. For transfers between locations, employees retain their seniority for retirement plan purposes, but accrued vacation is paid out at the time of transfer. For the effect of a location transfer on other benefits, contact the Human Resources Department. At the Archdiocesan Catholic Center, ordinarily, employees should be in their position for at least six months before applying for a transfer. All transfers require approval of the appropriate persons in charge.​
