​​The operating budget of the location shall include a designated percentage of the overall total revenues for the proper maintenance and repair of the buildings, grounds, furnishings, and equipment. It is the responsibility of the person in charge to:

  • Identify and prioritize needs for replacement and repair of structures, systems, or equipment 

  • Review and follow the Archdiocese of Los Angeles construction Project Checklist based upon the size of the project and note the approval process required​​ for all projects over $20,000

  • Assure that all contractors have the appropriate licenses and insurance for the nature of the work to be done

  • Identify and consult with the Construction Department on any projects that have the potential to create environmentally hazardous events, including any project that might involve asbestos-containing floor tiles, insulation and other products, lead-based paint, lead-containing materials, or mold
