Naming Archdiocesan Property

When new buildings are erected, locations often want to give them a name. Requests to name archdiocesan property are handled on a case-by-case basis. An individual has no authority to name particular portions of the location (i.e., buildings or fields). A suggestion may be submitted to the person in charge and include the rationale supporting the selection of the particular name. If the person in charge endorses the suggestion, the proposal shall be submitted to the moderator of the curia for review and further handling.
