Any incidents of child abuse or neglect alleged to involve clergy, staff, employees, or volunteers of the archdiocese as the perpetrator must be reported immediately as specified in Reporting Allegations of Sexual Abuse of Minors to Public Authorities and the Archdiocesan Policy and Procedures for Reporting Allegations of Sexual Abuse of Minors to Public Authorities. The incident must also be reported immediately to the archdiocesan Office of the Legal Counsel or the Office of Victims Assistance Ministry  for further action, reporting, or investigation in coordination with the appropriate departments or locations in the archdiocese. Copies of all reports should be provided to the archdiocese so that the appropriate offices can assist the location in addressing the situation, and as appropriate, offer assistance and referrals for the alleged victim and those impacted by the situation.
