Regular attendance is necessary for academic success. The primary obligation for student attendance rests with the parents/guardians. In partnership with them, the school administration has a moral responsibility to notify parents/guardians of the possible academic and/or disciplinary consequences of excessive absences.

Principals and teachers are responsible for checking the regular attendance of all students. Every absence must be recorded on the attendance register and record. Attendance records are kept through SchoolSpeak. A combination of 10 tardies and absences within a trimester will require a meeting with an administrator to develop an attendance improvement plan.
