Volunteer coaches for SPBS teams are selected by the SPBS Athletic Director, in collaboration with the school administration. All SPBS coaches are required to be fingerprinted, be up to date on their VIRTUS (Safeguard the Children) certification, attend a CYO “Play Like A Champion Today” workshop, have a valid CYO Coaches’ Card, sign the Archdiocesan “Boundary Guidelines”, and adhere to the school’s/CYO coaches’ “Code of Conduct”.
