Principals and teachers are responsible for checking the regular attendance of all students. Every absence must be recorded on the attendance register and record. Elementary schools record absences according to the instructions on the Student Attendance Register. Excessive absences may result in loss of academic credit.
Note: A parent or guardian must call the school office before 8:30 a.m. on the day of the student’s absence. Students must be fever free without medication for 24 hours before returning to school.
