Dismissal​​


Before School

Formal supervision is provided beginning at 7:30 a.m.  The school assumes no responsibility for students left before 7:30 a.m., therefore, students should be dropped off after 7:30 a.m.


Dismissal

To help the ease traffic congestion in the dismissal area, as well as on the streets surrounding our school, dismissal is staggered in the following way:

Only students in 5th through 8th grade have permission to walk home. Parents must review and sign the online Permission to Walk Ho​me form . Once a student has left campus after school hours, he/she may not return to school unless the office has issued an official pass.

AT NO TIME WILL STUDENTS BE PERMITTED TO LEAVE THE SCHOOL PROPERTY TO WAIT ON THE STREET FOR THEIR PARENTS OR THEIR RIDES.

IF A PARENT WISHES TO PARK ON THE STREET THEY MUST LEAVE THEIR CAR AND WALK THE CHILD/CHILDREN TO OR FROM THE PLAYGROUND AREA.

At 3:20 p.m. ALL REMAINING STUDENTS will be brought to the After-School program. There will be a $12.00 charge per child per hour for use of the program. If this happens on more than three occasions your child/children will be enrolled in the After-School program. ​


Recess and Lunch Yard Duty Guidelines

Volunteers should sign in when they arrive and sign out again once they have completed their shift. The “Yard Duty Sign-in” sheets are in the hall across from the school office. These sign-in sheets will be used to confirm you have fulfilled your volunteer shift.​ All Volunteers must read the Playground Procedures & Guidelines on SchoolSpeak.
