Traffic Safety
For the safety of your child, please observe the directions of the traffic supervisors as you enter the school yard. All parents are obligated to know all our school's Traffic Duty Procedures & Safety Guidelines.
Car Line/Traffic Duty Service Hours & Requirements: Mandatory service hours for traffic duty are five hours per child. Each family with children in kindergarten through 8th grade is required to complete traffic duty. Families must complete at least six traffic duty shifts, or five all-afternoon shifts, per child, with shifts counting towards the overall service hours requirement. Volunteers must have completed a VIRTUS training course, or they will not be allowed to serve their shift. Anyone who does not show up will automatically be billed, as it is the responsibility of the parent to find another VIRTUS-certified volunteer to cover their shift.
