Students entering 7th grade must have had Measles and Rubella immunization and Pertussis immunization.  Any students entering a California school for the first time will be required to take the Mantoux TB skin test plus Varicella. Three doses of Hepatitis B are also required for 7th grade.

Recommended vaccines to keep your child healthy:
  • Yearly influenza vaccine
  • DPT-pertussis booster
  • Hepatitis A
Vision and hearing screening are done each fall. Students in 5th through 8th grades are screened each spring for scoliosis. Speech development assessments are given to students in kindergarten through 2nd grade during the first trimester of school.
