Nut-Free Policy
No type of food containing peanut butter and/or nut products shall be sent to school. This applies to all food coming into the school building, including lunches, snacks, and special-occasion foods.
Animals on School Property
Guide dogs/service animals are permitted on school property for persons with disabilities provided they are licensed and trained. Therapy or companion animals, including pets, are not service animals and are not covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act so they cannot be brought on school property. Service animals in training are also not allowed on school property.
If a student has an allergy that needs medication, the Allergy Action Plan Form must be filled out and sent to the office in case of emergency.
