Each school regularly reviews textbooks and resources to ensure they are adequate resources to help teachers and students meet the school-developed, standards-based curriculum. Each school should consider budgetary constraints of both the school and the students' families. Selected textbooks must also be aligned with overall Catholic philosophy.

Care of Books and Property

Students are responsible for school textbooks loaned to them. Books should always be covered. Students will be held accountable for lost books, damaged books, damage to the property of others, or to school property.

School sweaters, jackets, coats, lunch boxes and other personal property must be marked with the owner's name and grade.

Library

All students have access to the school library which is open four days a week. Students are expected to conform to rules regarding check out and return of books and reference materials. Students are held accountable for all books which they check out. A fine of 25 cents/day will be assessed for all overdue books. Parents will be billed a $25 fee, through FACTS, for replacing any book which is lost or damaged by their child.
