Tuition Management Service
Parents will be billed through a third-party tuition management system (FACTS).
With the exception of certain specified additional fees for school services, parents will make all tuition and fee payments through this third-party tuition management system, beginning with the first payment. The third-party tuition management system will contact, process and record all tuition and fees payments and will issue all billing statements to parents throughout the school year.
All families are required to enroll with FACTS Management Company for their tuition payments, which can be paid by automatic withdrawal or on-line payments. FACTS Payment Plans may be changed to monthly invoice agreements if paying by check, with the approval of the Principal. Families will receive an invitation to enroll in July and must be enrolled by August 8, 2025. There are two options to pay tuition:
- One Full Scheduled Payment - due September 2025 (annual $25 enrollment fee)
- Ten Monthly Payments - 10-month payment plan from September 2025 to June 2026 (annual $55 enrollment fee)
Delinquent Tuition and Fees Payment Agreement
The success of St. Brendan School hinges upon the commitment of families to make Catholic education a financial priority, be involved in their child's education, and make their tuition and fees payment(s) on a timely basis.
St. Brendan School makes every effort to provide an affordable, quality, Christ-centered education to our students. St. Brendan School relies upon fundraising activities, and fees to provide an excellent spiritual and educational program operating on a balanced budget. We cannot fulfill our mission or provide fundamental school operations unless the obligations of every student are met on a timely basis. It is therefore not only necessary, but imperative, that families pay all tuition, fundraising commitments, and fees (collectively, "Tuition") in a timely manner.
St. Brendan School understands that unexpected situations can and do arise and the school strives to work with families. If unforeseen financial circumstances arise, families are responsible for contacting the Pastor, Fr. Brian Castaneda, and the Principal, Mrs. Collette Young, as soon as possible to review the financial hardship and seek a mutually agreeable alternative tuition payment plan.
When payments are not made in accordance with the tuition agreement, the following steps will take place:
30 days past-due:
- A "Past Due Notice" will be sent to any family with Tuition more than 30 days past due. When an account becomes 30 days past due under the established tuition agreement, the financially responsible party will receive written notification requesting that tuition be brought current or that they contact St. Brendan School to create an alternative tuition payment plan. Parents should not assume that missed payments will be overlooked.
- If all past-due Tuition is not paid in full, or a mutually acceptable agreement is not reached for the payment of all past-due Tuition, this policy will be strictly enforced. All families receiving a Past Due Notice who cannot pay all past-due Tuition in full will be required to contact the school to discuss an agreement to make alternative arrangements for payment. For purposes of this policy, payments not paid by the due date are considered past due.
- It is the responsibility of the family and/or financially responsible party to contact the school office to bring the account up to date or to create an alternative tuition payment plan with the school. Please email the Pastor, Fr. Brian Castaneda, at revbtcastaneda@la-archdiocese.org and the Principal, Mrs. Collette Young, at cyoung@stbrendanschoolla.org.
60 days past-due:
- When an account becomes 60 days past due, the principal will issue the financially responsible party a written notice by certified letter. The notice will reiterate the terms of the financial commitment and request immediate attention to the matter.
- In addition to this notification, students will not be permitted to pre-register for the following academic year or to return after the current trimester until the balance is paid in full or an alternative plan has been approved.
- 8th-grade students will not be allowed to take part in graduation activities and ceremony.
Non-Payment of Tuition and Fees:
- Students will not be re-enrolled for the following school year unless all prior year's Tuition is paid in full.
- All Tuition and fees must be current the first day of class or the student(s) will not be seated.
- Students will be allowed to complete all academic work in progress before terminating enrollment for non-payment of Tuition and/or fees.
- During the school year, students will not be allowed to make payments for/or participate in field trips and/or school-sponsored activities including, but not limited to, all sports, club and other extracurricular activities.
- St. Brendan School reserves all rights to use any legal means at its disposal to reclaim past-due Tuition, including the engagement of third-party collection agencies to whom financial details will be provided by St. Brendan School as is permissible by law.
- 8th-grade students will not receive a graduation diploma and will not be allowed to participate in the graduation activities and ceremony, nor will they receive any scholarship monies awarded through the school-sponsored scholarship awards which are presented at the graduation ceremony, until all financial obligations are met.
- Parents of 8th-grade students must have completed all service hour requirements or paid for all outstanding service hours by May 31.
St. Brendan School encourages all responsible parties to maintain open communication with the pastor and the principal to ensure a complete understanding of each family's financial circumstance. The goal of St. Brendan School is to provide a Catholic school education to every student that desires one. By working together, we can make sure this goal is met.
