Closed Campus
St. Gertrude the Great School is considered a closed campus. Students enter the front gates between 7:45 and 8am. Parents are not allowed on campus at drop off. During the school day, parents or visitors are allowed to enter the school only by the Front Office and must be buzzed in after they are identified.
Students may not leave campus or invite guests on campus during the school day without authorization from an administrator. Once students arrive on campus, they are not permitted to leave unless they are checked out in the school office by an individual named on the emergency card.
Recess and Lunch are a time for your child to learn socialization skills; parents are not permitted to eat snack or lunch with their child.
Visitors must have prior permission from the administration, and they must wear the appropriate guest pass, obtained in the school office.
