St. John of God School’s admissions procedures are clearly outlined and accessible to the public. Key guidelines include:

  • ​Priority is given to active parish members.
  • Class sizes aim for 33-35 students for financial stability.
  • The recommended age for transitional kindergarten students is four years of age on or before September 1.
  • The recommended age for kindergarten students is five years of age on or before September 1.
  • The recommended age for first grade students is six years of age on or before September 1.​
  • All students must meet California immunization and health requirements before enrollment.
  • Admissions decisions consider both educational resources and financial needs.
  • The pastor and principal will regularly review ongoing enrollment eligibility.
  • Students with outstanding balances at other schools are not eligible for admission.
