Support Team Education Plan (STEP)

The Support Team Education Plan (STEP) is a collaborative process that brings together students, parents/students, teachers, and administrators to seek positive solutions based on a student's strengths and special needs to help that student benefit from his or her education and to facilitate participation in the Catholic school curriculum. 14.1 - Introduction14.1 - Introduction<p>​​​​​​​​Archdiocesan schools do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, disability, sex, or national and/or ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies and practices, scholarship programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs. However, certain schools in the archdiocese are operated as single sex schools.  [Note that by adopting this non-discrimination policy the archdiocese is not waiving any legal exceptions or exemptions that may apply to it as a religious nonprofit organization.]<br><br>While schools do not discriminate against students with special needs, a full range of services may not always be available to them.
