  • Disciplinary Causes Leading to Probation, Suspension, Withdrawal, and/or Expulsion 

    General Guidelines: 

    • Any behavior that damages the school's reputation or violates school rules is unacceptable and may result in disciplinary action. 

    • The administration reserves the right to assess the seriousness of each situation and determine appropriate disciplinary measures, which may include monetary penalties for damages or loss of school property. 

    • Specific Infractions Include (but are not limited to): 

  • Insubordination, disobedience, disrespect towards faculty or staff. 
  • Persistent disruptive behavior in the classroom. 
  • Defiance of school rules or authority. 
  • Forgery. 
  • Truancy. 
  • Gambling. 
  • Hazing. 
  • Theft. 
  • Cheating or plagiarism. 
  • Smoking. 
  • Threats of violence or coercive behavior. 
  • Possession or use of unauthorized keys or security codes. 
  • Tampering with fire alarms or extinguishing equipment. 
  • Harassment of any kind. 
  • Leaving campus without permission. 
  • Obscene conduct. 
  • Violation of probation terms. 
  • Defacement or destruction of school property. 
  • Excessive tardiness or poor attendance. 
  • Ineligible participation in extracurricular activities. 
  • Possession of morally offensive materials. 
  • Involvement in groups promoting coercive or violent behavior. 
  • Possession or use of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco on campus or at school events. 
  • Possession of weapons or potential weapons. 
  • Lying or withholding information from school administration or faculty. 
  • Fighting, whether participating directly, instigating, or supporting, on or off campus. 
  • Cyberbullying or misuse of Internet and social media. 
  • Violations of electronic acceptable use policies.
