OLA offers a convenient on site 'hot lunch' option with a new menu posted on a monthly basis, and parents are charged through FACTS. If not using this 'hot lunch' service, children are expected to bring a lunch (and optionally a snack) to school daily. Parents must ensure that a child brings a satisfying, healthy meal and nutritious snacks on a daily basis. "Fast food" is discouraged.
All lunches should be dropped off to the school office by 11:30 am. Parents may not meet a child at the lunchroom, playground or drop off belongings on the classroom benches during school hours.
Delivery of 'door dash', or similar personal food delivery services, including individual fast food or pizza by a company outside of a teacher-approved class party during recess/lunch, is strictly prohibited.
Recess and Lunch are a time for a child to learn socialization skills; parents are discouraged from eating snack or lunch with their child.
