Junior Kindergarten to 4th Grade: No more than 30 minutes screen time for daily classroom instruction time (not required daily, however)

5th Grade: Average of 45 minutes of screen time for daily classroom instruction time (not required daily, however)

6th-8th: Average of 90 minutes screen time for daily instruction time (not required daily, however)​


Other Notes:

  • Teachers are circulating the rooms at all times when students are using devices or utilizing Apple Classroom.
  • Recreational Content: Strict prohibitions on student-led use of platforms like YouTube, Gaming Sites, and Social Media
  • Breaks & Lunch: Students will not use personal cell phones and school-issued devices during passing periods, lunch, and recess to encourage socialization
  • These are guidelines for our classrooms, not requirements. This does not mean that the iPads will be used every day for the above amount of time.
