Welcome to the Parent Student Handbook. It provides essential information about the policies and procedures that the school expects parents and students to understand and follow. By reading the Handbook and signing the Acknowledgment parents and students agree to be bound by the school’s Code of Conduct and all other school policies and procedures. You can print out a copy of the Handbook if you wish, but the binding document is the one that is online. The school reserves the right to amend the Parent Student Handbook at any time. Parents/guardians will be notified of any amendments and will be asked to sign an acknowledgment of receipt.

Dear School Families of Faith:

Welcome to St. Gregory the Great School!! We have prepared this handbook to help you become better acquainted with your school. Please take the time to go over this handbook with your child (ren). By supporting school policy, you help to ensure a pleasant and productive learning environment for your child (ren). This handbook is part of your yearly agreement and is meant to be comprehensive. The Administration reserves the right to amend or add to it as deemed necessary. Please keep it as a reference to be used during the school year. Any changes will be added in the school newsletters – or if and when the need arises through memos – during the school year.

It is our desire to help each student grow into a well-rounded, mature individual prepared to live in and contribute to our community. In order for the community to function smoothly, certain expectations are required. When these are respected and followed by each member of the St. Gregory the Great School community, this helps assure a smooth and orderly operation.

We express our sincere thanks to each family who has entrusted their children to the academic and spiritual care of St. Gregory the Great School. Please believe that we are committed to provide a Catholic education that will fulfill our mission statement: St Gregory the Great School fosters a caring Catholic Christian environment, which provides a faith community where each student recognizes their uniqueness and will be prepared to take on a positive role in our society. We pray that you and your child/ren are most blessed to be part of our St. Gregory the Great Catholic School and that you will grow in grace and wisdom in the years to come.

Yours in Christ,

Paulette Clagon - Principal
