To effectively partner with parents/guardians and meet local reporting needs, the archdiocesan report card is the official vehicle to report student academic progress as well as work habits and behavior to parents/guardians.

The purpose of report cards is to effectively communicate student progress in achieving learning goals. The marks for content area subjects should reflect student mastery of grade-level standards.

Report Cards are issued each trimester. Please see the school calendar for precise dates on which report cards are published at the end of each trimester.

The teacher of each course determines the grade each student receives for any course of study. Except in the cases of clerical or mechanical error, fraud, bad faith, or incompetence, the determination of the grade is final.

St. Joseph the Worker School subscribes to a professional program, GRADELINK.
● Teachers use the program as a grade book.
● GRADELINK is accessible to students and their parents. Grades are accessible 24/7.
● Students, along with parents, are required to examine their site, and keep track of their own progress in each subject.

● This has proved to be an accurate way of determining report card grades and encouraging student involvement.

● Report cards are generated from the data that has been entered.
