Parents must prevent the risk of serious injury by carefully adhering to all rules of traffic safety:
Parents are responsible for the drop-off and pick-up of your child(ren). By signing the agreement, you acknowledge your understanding that the school can NOT be held liable at any time, for any reason for traffic accidents occurring outside of the school gates. Parents are responsible to ensure that all drivers in the family are familiar with this traffic plan.
All students must be dropped off and picked up INSIDE the school’s designated playground only. Do not encourage your child to wait to be picked up outside of pickup/drop-off areas since this will instantly release the Saint John the Baptist School of any liability in the event of accident, injury, or child endangerment/abduction.Release of Students during School Hours
The parent must sign the log in the School Office and at the Health room at the time of the student's release. Your I.D. must be presented. Only those adults, who have explicit permission per student’s emergency card, will be released. NO STUDENT IS ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE CLASSROOM until the teacher has a release slip prepared by Health Room worker.
