​​Prompt and regular attendance is important. Missed school days can never be made up, even if missing assignments are completed. If a student is ill, parents are to call the school before 9:00 A.M. and send an email to the teacher. Students are expected at school by 7:55 A.M. School supervision begins at 7:30 A.M.

In adherence with Archdiocesan policy, students who are late or absent due to a medical appointment will be marked late or absent but, will be
excused from work habit points if they turn in a note from the doctor’s or dentist’s office.
L/ Late arrival (arrived between 7.55am – 8.30am)
/L Left early (left within 30 minutes of dismissal)
A Whole day absence
A/ Morning absence (arrived between 8:30 am – noon)
/A Afternoon absence (left between noon – 2:30 pm)

L/ means student arrived late: from the time the bell rings until 30 minutes late. After that they have a morning absence “A/”.
If a student leaves in the 30 minutes before the last bell rings, they are marked /L​
If student leaves after noon, but before the last 30 minutes they are marked /A​
If student doesn't come to school at all, they are still A
At the end of the school year, all absences, late arrivals and early departures shall be transferred from the attendance register to the student’s Cumulative Pupil
