Archdiocesan policy states: "When, for family reasons, parents wish to take their children out of school temporarily, the principal and teacher will discuss with the parents the possible effects of such an absence. If a student is absent for an extended time, (e.g., 15 or more days), official grades may be withheld.” Note: In addition to the Archdiocesan policy stated above, St. Timothy School has its own extended absence policy; After a period of absence, students are required to complete all missing work. Parents may request from teachers a list of assignments in the case of an extended illness. Written parental permission is required before a student is excused from school.
