FINANCIAL POLICIES

PMA runs on a very tight budget.  The school spends more per pupil than it charges for tuition.  Payment of tuition and fees is a matter of justice which cannot be taken lightly.  Failure to pay tuition and fees on time jeopardizes the academic program for all of our students and faculty.  It also causes deep anxiety and worry on the part of those who are responsible for the financial state of the school.  In all Christian charity and justice, parents and guardians are requested to please be faithful in making all payments on time, and in the rare case that this is not possible, inform the school immediately and await further advisement.

TUITION AND FEES

There is no difference in tuition for Catholic and non-Catholic students.  For a complete list of tuition, fees and other current financial information, please refer to the published Schedule of Tuition and Fees

 WITHDRAWAL/DROPOUT/FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS

Whenever a pupil transfers from PMA to a school district within the state, PMA shall transfer the pupil’s permanent enrollment and scholarship record or a copy thereof upon a request from the district or private school where the pupil intends to enroll.  The school reserves the right to withhold a diploma or disallow the taking of quarter or final exams until the financial obligations of the pupil have been met.

REFUND POLICY

Registration and application fees are non-refundable. Tuition obligations are contractual.  Any student withdrawal affects contractual obligations and the schools budget and financial stability.  Withdrawal refunds for tuition are calculated at 10% per month of the total contract.  The refund due or the amount owed (which includes fundraising obligations) will be calculated by the school business office at the time of withdrawal. If a student pays a fee to participate in or attend an extracurricular event and then is unable to attend due to personal, health, academic, or disciplinary reasons, no refund of the fee will be made.  Any fees that purchase durable goods kept by the student are non-refundable.  Refund Policy is different for International Students. The Refund Policy is outlined in the International Tuition Contract.
