​​5.11.10 Hiring Non-Teaching (Classified) Staff

All applicants will be screened and those applicants selected will be called for a preliminary interview by the principal and/or supervisor. Skills tests will be administered (as appropriate) to qualified applicants.

References

The final applicant(s) selected will submit a list of two or three references. The school will make reference calls, document the results of those calls. and check the SEP​ The principal will select the final applicant.

Job Offer

The principal makes the official job offer to the prospective employee. The principal will also confirm the job offer in writing stating the position title, job description, wages, benefits, name of the immediate supervisor, effective date of hire, and the 90-day i​​ntroductory period with an evaluation at the end of this period. The employee is required to sign the written offer to verify that employment conditions have been read and understood.
