​Person in Charge

The person in charge has the authority, responsibility, and accountability to implement and maintain the provisions of the location’s health and safety programs. The person in charge ensures that the necessary programs and plans are developed, funded, reviewed, and evaluated. The person in charge may be the plan adm​inistrator​, or if resources allow, the person in charge may designate one or more plan administrators or a team.
