Tardiness
It is vitally important for all students to be at school on time. All students should be present for
morning assembly at 7:45 am. Students will be marked tardy in grades K-8 if they are not
present by 7:55 am as tardiness is disruptive to the education process for the entire class.
Tardy students in grades K-8 are to report to the school office to receive a late slip before being
admitted to class.
K-3 students should be escorted by parents to the church if tardy on Fridays.
Every five tardies a student incurs will result in 1 additional service hour being added to the
parent’s requirement for students in grades K-6. Every five tardies a middle school student
accumulates will result in one detention. Excessive tardies may effect student’s eligibility for
honors designation.
