The school day begins at 8:00am and continues until 2:45 pm. Students who are not present during this time are either absent or tardy.
When an early dismissal is required during school hours due to dental, doctor, or other appointments, an email must be sent to the homeroom teacher with the front office CCd. To minimize disruption and as a
courtesy to your child’s teacher and classmates, advance notice is preferred. Students must be picked up
and signed out in the school office. Students leaving 20 minutes or more before dismissal will be marked with
an afternoon absence.
School policy mandates that a student will only be released to those persons listed on the emergency
card. Please be sure your card is complete and up-to-date. All appointments are considered an absence if a
student is signed out 20 minutes or more before dismissal.
Please call the front office when you are on your way so we can have your child packed up and waiting for you.
