On the last day of school, St. Joseph the Worker School honors the outstanding academic achievement and outstanding service of the student body with an Awards Ceremony.

Academic Awards:

Students in grades 3 through 7 receive certificates for Honors if they have a cumulative (across all three trimesters) GPA of 3.5 to 3.74. They receive a certificate for High Honors if their cumulative GPA is 375 to 4.0.

Students in Junior High (grades 6, 7, and 8) are acknowledged at the end of each trimester for their academic achievement.

Graduating 8th graders are honored at their commencement exercises.

Service Awards:

Students across all grade levels (TK-8) are honored for their commitment to the ideals of Lead, Love, and Learn with the annual SLE Awards. One student is selected for each category from each grade.

Students are also recognized for their service to the Church as Altar Servers and Cantors at Mass.

If a student receives an NI in behavior, their participation in the awards ceremony may be at risk.
