CARE OF SCHOOL/PARISH PROPERTY
Students are given the privilege of using school and Parish facilities and equipment. However, they may not deliberately damage anything. All students enrolled in SPBS share the responsibility of caring for and maintaining school property, facilities and equipment. Therefore, students are expected to:
- Keep textbooks covered throughout the school year, as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Never mark or write in, damage or soil textbooks except as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Carry books in a book bag, backpack, or in Kindergarten use the SPBS-supplied red “book bag".
- Never write on, scratch, mark, deface, or damage desks, walls, tables, chairs, etc. in any way.
- Parents are responsible for replacing all lost and/or damaged books as indicated by the classroom teacher. The school will bill the parents for the full replacement price, which must be paid promptly.
- Parents are responsible for replacing and/or repairing any and all lost and/or damaged school property and/or equipment, including school iPads and chargers.
- All of the above will be interpreted and enforced at the discretion of the SPBS faculty and administration.
Textbooks/Supplies
The registration and general fees are used to cover many textbooks and supplies for use by the students each year, including many digital and textbook subscriptions. Families stll need to purchase additional supplies on their own for their child's personal use, including pens, pencils, binders, folders, etc.
