Students are allowed to have Devices at Our Lady of Loretto School but must adhere to our policies.
Students are allow to have cell phones at school, but cannot use them while at school unless for emergencies. For students in Grades TK - 2 grade, we ask that if any students have a cell phone, to keep it in their backpacks and on silent. For grades 3-8, when arriving to school, students may either keep their cell phones in their bag until they arrive to their classroom, or put their cell phones in their designated class basket when they arrive. Students will receive their phones at the end of the school day, or if they are leaving early. Students that are staying for daycare will need to either put their phones in the Day Care bin when instructed to do so, or keep their phones in their backpack until their parent or guardian arrives. Students will not be able to play on their phone in the mornings before school or during after school care.
