Consequences of violations of electronic communications policy
In accordance with the CIPA 2022 guidelines, violations of this policy, including breaches of confidentiality or security, may result in suspension of electronic communication privileges, confiscation of any electronic communication device or materials, and disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment, removal from parish or school activities, or other appropriate disciplinary action.
Any student who wishes to cause harm to his or her peers through the use of any electronic devices on the school network, specifically through any open interface chat applications (i.e., Instagram, Snapchat, Discord, TikTok, or others), will automatically face suspension and possible expulsion from the school. Students found using the computer or iPad inappropriately, will be subject to disciplinary action such as but not limited to: detention, suspension, or expulsion from the school, revoked privileges of iPad or computer.
