8.17 - School Health Records
<p> <span style="font-weight:700;">School Health Records</span><br> </p><p>Every school must comply with all department of public health requirements. Every school shall have on file a health record for each student enrolled in the school. Upon a student's transfer, student health records are forwarded with the student transcript to the receiving school. Schools shall comply with applicable <a target="_blank" href="http://www2.ed.gov/policy/gen/guid/fpco/ferpa/index.html">Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act</a> rules if they are recipients of certain funds from the U.,S. Department of Education.
