Principals and teachers are responsible for checking the regular attendance of all students. Every absence must be recorded on the attendance register and record. Elementary schools record absences according to the instructions on the Student Attendance Register. Parents must email the school nurse by 8:15 a.m. on the day a student is absent; otherwise the school will contact the parent to confirm the absence.
