Service - Upon entrance to St. Catherine Labouré School, all families pay a $250 Volunteer Fee.  This fee is rolled over each year that the family completes 25 hours of volunteer service to the school before the end of that school year.  Any year that the entire 25 hours is not completed the family will be charged another $250 Volunteer Fee the following school year.  At the beginning of the school year, each family receives a Volunteer Hour Record Sheet.  Copies may also be downloaded from SchoolSpeak.  Parents must bring this sheet to each volunteer opportunity and secure a signature from the event organizer or teacher in charge.  Volunteer hour sheets will not be accepted without a chairperson or teacher's signature.  Hours may not be transferred to another family.  "Back-to-School Night" and PTO meetins will be counted as one and one-half hours of volunteer service.  Being a chaperone on a class fieldtrip will earn only the hours spent on the trip.  Attending events with your child (ie. sporting events, PTO sponsored events, church related events, etc.) will not be counted as volunteer hours.  A maximum of 10 hours (20 hours for booth captains only) will be accepted for working at the St. Catherine Labouré Parish Fiesta.  It is the family's responsibility to record and hand in completed Volunteer Hour Record Sheets to the school office. Parents should always keep a copy of the completed Volunteer Hour Record Sheet for their records.

Fundraising - Each family is required to generate $350 worth of profit from the school Scrip program.  In lieu of generating $350 in profit, familes may choose pay $350 at the beginning of the school year or through monthly installments.  If $350 profit is not generated by the end of the year, families are billed the remaining balance.  Famiilies are also required to sell $100 worth of raffle tickets for the annual Hawaiian Raffle fundraiser.
