Section 5-04 – Recess and Lunch/Nutrition
Students receive both a nutrition break (usually 20 minutes) and a lunch period (33 minutes) when school ends at 2:30 p.m. (Monday through Thursday). On Fridays, classes are in session from 8:00 a.m. to 1:35 p.m. with a nutrition break after third period.
Hot food is prepared and catered by Bevaris Alliance Food Services every day in the school cafeteria for those students who wish to purchase food with cash or through their GPSPay App account. [Visit Bishop Alemany website, click on "Student Life" then "Bevaris Food Services."] The day starts with breakfast and continues with an array of lunch items for students and staff. The diverse menu includes over 30 items offered daily, such as several hot food choices, salads, sandwiches, fruit, snacks, etc. Since 1993, the Bevaris team has been committed to Alemany and their culinary expertise is greatly appreciated.
