5.8.2 Sick Time
Sick time allows employees to recuperate from an illness or to take care of a sick family member. The rate of paid sick time accrual is determined by each location; however, locations must, at a minimum, comply with the sick leave laws established by the State of California and by various cities, such as the City of Los Angeles.
