7.2.8 Property Taxes
All locations within the archdiocese are taxed on their property each year. The bills are sent to the Real Estate Department by the taxing authorities; the Real Estate Department performs an exemptions and tax bill analysis and then mails the tax bills to each location for payment to the taxing authority. If the use of any part of the property is changed (e.g., by entering into a long-term lease of a parking lot or new construction), the person in charge must notify the property tax administrator in the
Real Estate Department of the change.
