Individuals in the archdiocese may have been fingerprinted for single or multiple roles as volunteers or paid personnel at one or more locations.
When a person who has been fingerprinted is no longer a staff member or a volunteer at a particular location, the location must update the person's assignment profile on the Volunteer/Personnel Information Network as "inactive" and provide the date the person ceased having the assignment at the location. The update to "inactive" should be applied only to the specific assignment that the person no longer has at that location. The location must also inform the archdiocesan Fingerprinting Office so that it can file a No Longer Interested (NLI) Notification with the California Department of Justice, as needed.
