​ Criminal Record Summary for Preschools​

​A criminal record summary must be received for each employee of the preschool before he or she can be hired. Preschools mandate fingerprinting under the California Health and Safety Code which may require new fingerprinting through the archdiocese Volunteer/Personnel Information Network​ program,​for specified persons, including the pastor or principal. If a new pastor or principal is assigned to a parish or school with an existing preschool, he or she must also be fingerprinted under the California Health and Safety Code if they have not already been fingerprinted under that code.
