In addition to the required consultative councils and committees, many other committees and groups exist at most parishes to address the particular needs of parish members, organize events for different age and interest groups, raise funds for the parish, or support particular ministries or initiatives at the parish. This Administrative Handbook assists parishes in these efforts by providing guidance and resources, such as guidelines for fund-raising ideas like bingo, fiestas, and raffles; procedures for managing capital campaigns; rules for field trips and other off-site events; and safety measures and other guidelines for on-site events and for the participation of volunteers in those efforts.
