5.11.12 Employees with Written AgreementsPrincipal A principal is hired according to the terms of the Principal Employment Agreement, which specifies an employment period of 12 months. The salary should be stated as a biweekly or semimonthly amount.
The biweekly salary amount is paid every two weeks for 12 months.
The semimonthly salary amount is paid twice a month for 12 months.
If a principal does not sign a new employment agreement, any wages still owed must be paid by the end of the employment agreement period. TeachersTeachers are hired according to the terms of the Elementary School Teacher Employment Agreement or High School Faculty Employment Agreement. The salary is stated in terms of a biweekly or semimonthly amount. If a teacher does not sign a new employment agreement, any wages still owed must be paid by the end of the employment agreement period, and any insurance payments for July and August already deducted from the salary must be reimbursed at that time.
