5.11 General Policies for Schools
The general policies in this section apply to all parish elementary schools and all parish and archdiocesan high schools. Schools may supplement the general policies with their own, provided that those supplemental policies do not contradict or override the general policies stated in this chapter and section.
Preschools have their own general policies that are found in
Licensed Preschool Programs. Private independent Catholic schools in the archdiocese may use the general policies as guidelines, but they are not mandatory for the private schools.
